Beth Haven Baptist Church

David and Shannon were both born and raised in Michigan, and were married in 1983 at the age of seventeen, after being betrothed by their parents two years earlier.

They served together from 1983-1990 as full-time staff at the Gilead Baptist Church & Academy in Owosso, MI.

In August 1990 David accepted the call to become the pastor of Beth Haven Baptist Church in Morgantown, WV.  They are now in their 34th year of ministry to these saints of God.

Shannon has blogged about their very unique marriage betrothal, and has written a couple of books, one of which has recently been published.  David has one book written which is waiting to be published.

They have four married sons, and 10 living grandchildren with more on the way.  The entire family are faithful members of Beth Haven.

David was born-again in August 1971 in Elsie, MI. under the preaching/pastoral ministry of his father.  He then yielded to the call to preach in April 1982

Shannon made a profession of faith in her youth, but was born-again in 1992
